- Windsurfing
At Kanatadika (5′ distance from chroma studios) and Limni Beaches you have the chance to enjoy windsurfing. Windsurfers must be very careful during August due to the strong winds in this area.
- Horse riding
Petalos Equestrian Club- in Taxiarchis village (10′ distance from chromastudios), surrounded by the lush forests of Telethrio and the Horse Riding Center of Kamatriades village (20′ distance from chromastudios) can help beginners-and non-beginners with experienced trainers. In fact, in Kamatriades farm you can also find plenty of animals, such as deers (Dama-Dama), goats (African pygmy goats), ducks, guinea fowls, peacocks and hens.
- Bird watching
The diverse landscape of Northern Evia with meadows, mountain ranges, wetlands and steep coastal cliffs hosts a wide variety of different birds. The main interest of bird watchers are the wetlands and lagoons of Istiea in the northern part of the island (2’ distance of the lodges) and the Kandili Mountains in the West. The wetlands and lagoons in Istiea provide a safe haven not only for Swans (Cygnus olor) but also for a large number of seabirds during the winter. The low heights in Kandilli are a common refuge for migratory birds and a place of visits for the big raptors, while the forests of the area host a kind of bird called Emberiza caesia.
- Diving
At the beach of Aedepsus (20′ distance from chroma studios), you can find experienced divers which will help you visit the wonderful seabed of northern Evia-you can rent all the necessary equipment. As an alternative, you will find the organized Diving Center in Saint George, , in Lichadonisia, the so-called “Greek Seychelles”, where you can learn everything about diving, rent equipment or find guides for the best diving spots throughout northern Evia.
- Hiking
The dense forests and the mountains of Northern Evia host a multitude of paths that will take you through the most picturesque parts of the region. You can walk from Agios (17′ distance from the accommodation) to Prokopi in about 6.5 hours, through the waterfalls of Drymonas to Mount Xiro in around 3.5 hours and from Monument of Mount Pyxarias in 6.5 hours. Otherwise, you can follow the routes of the Nilea gorge (canyon), Kastaniotissa, Mount Telethrio and much more.
- Cycling
The dense pine forests and the coastal streets of Northern Evia offer endless opportunities for a cyclist in order to enjoy the area from a different angle. Rental bicycles are available in the town of Aedepsus (20’ distance from chromastudios).
- Canyoning
The Nilea gorge (canyon) offers a unique and interesting scenery for canoeing and hiking. From the place where the gorge begins (Paliovrisi) you can reach Kryovrisi, the river mouth in about two hours. When you reach the sea, the most popular destination is the village of Kerasia. In some areas you cannot avoid swimming and for those who will choose to go downhill, they have to be prepared to go through narrow passages and caves.
